Who We Are
Rob and Jane found love again and remarried here in the lovely village of Preston Candover. Most of our 5 children have flown the nest but we have 2 other companions, Alfie and Deo, our 2 cockers
Our Favorite Past Times
We love being out on the waters of the solent. It's a silly hobby and everyone says that the 2 best days of a sailors life is the day he buys a boat and the day he sells it! Still it's relaxing when you don't think about the cost!
Recent History
Until 2019 the house has had a shop and post office associated with it. Initially it was attached to the front of the house but 15 years ago it was moved to a new building next door on our drive. When we bought the house we never envisaged becoming a shop keeper but for the good of the community we agreed to take the challenge on in parallel to our normal work lives on the basis that some day the community would take over. I'm pleased to say that day has come. In june 2019 the community opened a new and exciting village store next to the village hall in the centre of the village. A new chapter for our home!
